Hi girls. I don't know if this is the best place to post but hoping for some advice.
Bit of background...I was diagnosed with PCOS aged 19 and took 4 years and 3 mc's to conceive DS who is now 3 and a half. My OH had pancreatic cancer 6 years ago and underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy. We both consider ourselves extremely lucky that he is still here and he was given a 20% chance of survival! We have been TTC our first together for 3 months actively and NTNP for 5 months prior to that. Now we are waiting on SA for which he has an appointment on May 22nd. We have the added complications of ED and RGE due to his diabetes but these are under control at the moment with the use of meds and alot of TLC lol. He has had bloods done to determine whether the chemo made him infertile and the results were good in that he didn't have the marker which would show infertility from it. What can we expect with regards to SA? When TTC DS I had clomid cos my partner at the time had a very high sperm count and the problem was solely with me. But we did the SA private. This time we are going through NHS and really confused about how it all works. The GP who referred us needed my details too but the only thing they have sent through is the appointment for his SA and no consultation for us as a couple? Is this normal?
Any advice would be very much appreciated
Thanks in advance!
