Hello, to cut a long story short my cycles are so irregular that I have to poas every day. I am using the little LH ones that the NHS use and taking Pregnacare conception vitamins. AF got me on the 12th Jan -15th Jan and I have been testing since. On 25th January, I got a clear positive. The 6th and 7th of feb were also definate positives. The 8th was negative, but the 9th showed a clear positive again! What the holymoly is going on???!

Have you been tested for or do you know if you have PCOS? That is a common problem with PCOS as it often gives false positives. Other then that I have no idea why that would happen.

Yes, I have been tested for it (half heartedly) I was not getting regular AFs as a teenager and my mum took me to the docs. I was dismissed twice by a lady doc who said it was completely natural and just hotmones but one day we went, she was away so I saw a male doc who sent me for an ultrasound. The ultrasound showed an enlarged left ovary which they said indicated PCOS so they put me on to Dianette and pretty much left it at that. Then in November I went to see the same doc who gave me blood tests which showed no signs of PCOS. So I might have it, I don't know for sure.

That is happening to a friend of mine and she has low progesterone levels. She's starting Clomid this month to help with ovulation.

This is interesting, the only thing is it only happened this month, could that still be the problem?

She recently found out she has a problem with ovulating every month due to low progesterone levels..In fact she had a viable pregnancy last year (it finally happened naturally), but he passed away hours after he was born due to congenital diaphragmatic hernia that had developed in the womb.

Her cycles were irregular too. It's worth checking out.
