Something dont seem right !!

Okay so i had the Mirena fitted when katelyn was 5 weeks old.
I had constant spotting for about a month and then it settled.

Since then iv only had spotting around the time my period is due.
But past three days i have been in harendous pain in my ovary area and then it would shoot down in to my leg, it was bad iv nearly ended up tears.
Well today the pain has stopped and for the first time i have a very very heavy period! sorry for tmi but its gushing out!!! sometimes its bright red but then others and it can out really dark so it looks black.
I aint bled like this since after birth bleeding.

Anyone else experienced this ? i dont know what to do because i dnt know what to think of it, weather its just my hormones or this is something wrong.

I k ow it's normal to get quite strong cramps with the coil I asked the nurse about it and she said you van have awful cramps as for the bleeding mine is quite heavy or heavy for me as o had light periods x
