Something weird with new formula?

So I switched my LO to Enfagrow Toddler formula and she is taking it well especially since she has had so many feeding issues.

I did notice that when I was mixing it and later washing the bottles that the formula has a slightly fishy smell. Then today I changed her poop diaper which also had a fishy smell to it. Not diarrhea and it was normal, peanut butter texture....

Is this worth a call to the dr? I know that it has a DHA supplement which usually is taken from fish products.

I did check the dates and the container, and even bought another container, everything looks and smells same.

It's probably from the DHA. Have you ever opened a bottle of caplets? OMG.

after I bumped this post I thought about that. I used to take fish oil and it smelled horrific.

I sent enfamil an email anyhow because when I washed the bottles I noticed it again, a fishy smell. it's just weird!!

we do the similac toddler formula. I haven't noticed a wierd smell perse. only the same horrible one that always comes with soy formula. Do you think it is the extra protein in it maybe or the DHA.

I found when ds was on SMA gold I couldn't smell the fish but his nappies were horrendously fishy smelling. I was so worried for a while but when we switched (for other reasons than the smell) it disappeared. I assumed it was to do with the fish products used too.
