Son keeps going to the toilet

My son has just turned 5 and the last few days he is constantly saying he needs a week and keeps going toilet. He doesn't always wee when he goes he wil go like every couple of minutes. Anyone else's child do this? I don't know if it's anything to worry about

Maybe he has a UTI? That can cause frequent need to pee.

Is he drinking a lot as well?

Sounds like a UTI, is it hurting him when he goes? Maybe worth dropping a sample into the Drs.
