soo...I got stuck in the bath last night :/

One of the most embarassing moments of my pregnancy so far... my OH went out to his parents house, so I thought ahh I'll have a nice relaxing bath

Got into the bathroom to run the bath, and remembered that OH has recently re-tiled the bathroom, and because we have a very low bath we had a handle type thing on the wall to make it easier to get in/out but when it was re-tiled, this was taken away.

So I thought okay I'll wait til about 20 mins before OH is due back, so that by the time I get out, if I need help, he'll be here to help me. Also put my phone on the side in the bathroom just in case I need to call him.

Got in the bath, lots of bubbles, rubber ducky, nice and relaxed. Half an hour or so later I thought hmm OH should be home any minute, I'll just stay here a bit longer. Another 20 minutes and I was starting to resemble a prune so thought I best have a go at getting out of the bath myself. Not good. Kept slipping everywhere and knew I could end up slipping and hurt myself or baby, so decided to empty the bath and use the bath mat from the bathroom floor to make it a bit easier to stand up, still didn't work.

Oh, and in the process of moving the bath mat, I managed to knock the phone across the other side of the bathroom so I couldn't even call OH to ask him to come and help!

So 20 minutes after that, OH finally came home and found me sat in an empty bath all wrinkled, sat on the bath mat trying to lure my cat towards me just for some company

Needless to say...I think I'll stick to showers now x
