sooo when and how often to have sex

AF showed up today so now i just wondering whether its best to have sex every day or every other day partner sperm is normal so no issues there.
sex on ovulation day and how many days to have sex after ovulation?

I think the general rule is the 5 days before you ovulate (because sperm have been found to be able to live up to about 5 days), ateast every other day but probably no more than once a day. If you have regular cycles then the 5 days would be easier to figure out, if not, then perhaps at least every other day starting at cd9 or 10. For me personally, I BD when I feel like it and then when I get a +OPK then I make sure to BD that night and definitely the following night.

Past cycles DF & I have just dtd whenever the mood struck, although this cycle I am determined to nail the egg when it (hopefully) lands so we only bd every second day - and as soon as I get a slight sign that I am Ov'ing (if I do this cycle, since I am on met for lack of Ov'ing in previous cycles) we will bd every night. DF is pretty good with it, pretty sure he has hit the "We need you preggo yesterday" stage right there with me, so he makes sure every 2nd day is when we do it - even if I am so tired I pretty well pass out as soon as we crawl into bed. Haha.

I agree with the baby dancing every second day but i definitely think there is also a place for opks and charting...I don't know about you but after a while its good to see that you have already ovulated and can take some time off from having lots of sex. charting and opks also let you know how long your lutial phase is and if there is a problem that needs to be fixed... I had the same theory as you...We just did it every second day until day 11 then most days untill day 16 or so, It wasn't until I charted that I realised my LP was only 9 days, so no amount of sex was going to change the fact there just wasn't enough time for embryo to implant.
