Hey Ladies!!!
For about three weeks now i have been having pains in my upper back (mid shoulder blade). It is painful enough that it takes my breath away and by the end of the day takes the life out of me :( . Saw doc she said get a massage. Wondering what everyone else uses for creams for sore muscles eg: A535, tiger balm. We had one in cupboard but it said unsafe for pregnant and breast feeding. So hope to get a cream tonight on way home from work and have OH massage the area.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

You could just pick up some massage oil ( i think they make special formulas to be used on pregnant women)

PLease let me know if you find something that works, my boobs were a HH cup before I got pregnant so you can imagine how huge they are now and my back is killing me!!

Thanks hopingfor3 I will look into that!
britshsaffy wowsers!!! I am large in the tatas too but not quite that large, it must be sore for you! I just read through researching a bit a product called "myoflex" is safe in pregnancy so I will try that and as Hopingfor3 suggested I will look into massage oil. I am hoping for a medicinal ingredient though to help relieve some of the pain!

Darn back aches!!!!

I know there are lots of organic/homeopathic type massage oils. I have a good friend who does medical massage for a profession and I can check with her to see where you can get these types of oils.

i have pulled a muscle in my shoulder and it's agony! just did it by sleeping the wrong way. doctor prescribed me an ibuprofen gel, heat helps too and at night i've taken the lowest dose of co-codamol and i've managed to get some sleep (sitting straight up!). saw a physio who massaged it and it has helped a lot. xo

the physio also gave me a few exercises to help. sit up straight and tuck ur chin backwards towards ur neck (u can feel it stretching ur muscles all down ur neck and shoulders). also, sitting straigh rotate ur shoulders and head only, to the left and then do the same to the right. these have really helped too. xo

Hollyrose, ugh sorry about your pain! Thanks for the tips, I will def try them out.
OH gives great massages but they hurt too as he is trying to release the "knot" but the knot wants to stay :(
