sore breast immediately after ovulation

Ladies,
why some women get sore breast only prior to and other like me through entire luteal? what does it mean? we both have progesterone rise, but why some don't experience this madness right after ovulation?

I get it after too, so sore, I've never experienced it before as been on the pill years. X
