sore nipples

Hey

I am on CD 10 and have sore nipples anybody know why? can ovulation make this happen?

Have you just got back to normal AF after being onthe BCP at all hun? As this is quite a common symptom of your cycles getting back to normal after BCP!!

However your 10 DPO so could be a symptom of being PG, how long are your cycles hun?

No not been on pill for over a year and half. I had a missed MC in April and went back onto a 28 day cycle in May. I am only on cycle day 10 but had ewcm on cd8 so dont know whats happening. It seems early to ovulate but never had sore nipples like this before except when I were PG but that cant be as had Af only 10 days ago.

Hmmm thats strange then hun, so if your on 10DPO and your on a 28 day cycle then your 4 days off OV, yet you have already had EWCM hmmm im at a loss now hun, not sure why you would be suffering with sore nipples at this stage! Hopefully someone else will be able to shine some light on this for you

Visqueen....they will more than likely be down to impending ovulation.

Its strange you should ask this question, as before My first m/c in april, I had no idea that I was going to ovulate, apart from cm which I didnt know anything about at the time..I just knew I get watery cm at some point in the month!!
Anyways after this first m/c I get o symptoms, much like pg and af symptoms, ie achey breast, tingly/sensitive nipples, nausea, fatigue, cramping and I have had this on the cycle after, the 2nd cycle I m/c'd on and am just in the middle of it now as I o'd on friday. They will sat with me now until I get af and then die off...pain in the butt!

I dont know, but I think having the m/c has made my body more sensitive to hormonal changes, ie Ovulation and af.

I remember posting about it the first time it happened and I though I was early pg, I wasnt I was ovulating. Strange I know.

Day 12 and they are getting worse they kill to touch!!

My boobs also feel really heavy and they are tiny at that

Visqueen - mine are really sore as well. This is my first cycle off bcp, and I ov'd on sunday, according to a very strong OPK. Had sore nipples from sat.

Hmmm...I have sore nipples too at the moment, but am 7DPO so that fits a bit better.

Breast fullness can be associated with oestrogen (which is dominant in your cycle prior to ov) but breast tenderness is really associated with progesterone, which dominates the post ovulatory bit of the cycle. So I can't really explain it, unless its mainly that they feel heavy?!! Perhaps just one of those things?

Don't suppose you've been jogging and got the old jogger's nipple have you? lol

Since my mmc in May I have convinced myself that I must be pregnant, eventhough I'm not. My nipples hurt so much last month, that I knew I was pregnant...........but it was just my . I hope this isn't the case for you. Good luck hun!

Yeah, I usually get sore nipples after ovulation due to the hormones. Although if you're just getting it at 10 dpo, maybe it's a good sign for that Good Luck!
