Sorry, Another Soapnuts Question...

We have our Soapnuts now and wanted to check if we use the full ammount to wash a load of nappies or do we reduce it like we would reduce the ammount of Fairy we would use?

Don't want to bugger up having been so careful with all our pre-washes!

I think you can use the full amount, the reason youre reducing the amount of detergent is to prevent build up, since soap nuts dont give a build up i dont see ay reason to use less of them

^wss. I think I actually use too many for the temp I wash at (8 half shells at 60C). but I am happy with the results so I'll carry on.

I use 6/8 half shells, a dash of Napisan (not for a prewash from new obviously) and a few drops of essential oil in the softener drawer. I used them about 4/5 times but have used them till they disintegrated! If I think they need more lathering up (if there are a few of Hebe's that maybe the fleece didnt quite catch everything poop wise) I add a dash of non bio too
