Took Oliver to the doctor today and they finally offered me help!!
He is sick ALL the time - when is lying down, sitting up, when we pick him up, change his nappy, even in his sleep. This morning, he was sleeping upright and it was literally just flowing out of his mouth.
It was really upsetting me, even though I knew he would grow out of it in time. So this morning, I totally lost the plot, phoned the surgery and demanded an appointment (not that I needed to demand, they are always so good!!!).
So saw doc today, she agreed that it was a lax oesophegus, but then offered us some help!!! She has written him up for gaviscon, to help the regurgitation. I am sooooooooo pleased!:happydance:
It isn't reflux, as some of your LO's has - there is no pain, wind etc - it just falls out, so he isn't distressed at all. I am the only one that is distressed by it all!!
So thats my news. A happy bunny.

Bless him. :hugs: Let us know how he gets on with the gaviscon x

Aw bless him, my lil one suffers from reflux and its not nice, and being sick all the time is distressing to watch for you. Really hope it eases XxX

awww poor guy, hope he is better soon and the gaviscon helps!

Poor thing, hope the gaviscon works.

And if hes being sick a lot, now prob isnt the best time to drop that night feed, he will need the extra food :hugs:

True!!!
Well, he took the first dose no problems. Didn't think he'd take it via the bottle, but he loved it!

Has it brought any relief yet hun?

There is an improvement already. He's obviously not completely better, but his sickness has reduced. It is also a lot thicker, so when he is sick , there is a lot less. He seems a lot happier too. And so am I!!!

Really glad it's working! Ollie is doing fab on gaviscon too, good stuff isn't it! It's horrible when they're so sick isn't it x
