Just to clarify how many of you make up bottles and store in fridge 24hrs in advance?

Is this ok? Or does 12 hours seems more acceptable?

Im new to this! xxx Thanks

and another question too ....

if LOs asleep when due a feed then wakes up hungry in between do you just give a bit or the full bottle ? fdoes it then upset a ''routine''?

my LO usually gets a feed at 8am, 12noon
but got up at 7am starving ...only had 4oz now is asleep again.....

do i just feed when he asks like on demand? or should i top him up with a bit then carry on the 12noon feed as normal?l

i make up 24hrs in advance. I generally feed on demand, but its every 3hrs during the day.. It depends what time he wakes up, for example if he wakes up at 6 his feeds go, 6,9,12,3,6,9 sleep thru, but then might not wake up till 8 then it would go, 8,11,2,5,8. Some days he will have 6bottles some days 5, but he never has a bottle later than 10pm otherwise hes up every 3hrs during the night too! X

See Jake's different to that.

He has his bottles: 8(am), 11, 2, 5, 8 and then his last feed at 11pm & he goes down untill 8am the next morning. Going to try and get him 8 till 8 but I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon.

He's taking 6ozs at each feed too. x

My Jake isnt in set routine with his feeds,at particular times I mean,I kinda just feed him when he's hungry-he sleeps at different times during the day-having a lively 3 year old running around the house doesnt help with getting him into a routine! I make up bottles twice a day so mine are probs only in the fridge for 12 hours or less and if Jake falls asleep during a feed I tend to just offer him another one when he wakes.I dont like re heating a bottle but I have done it a few times as long as it hasnt been out over an hour.xx
