So tomorrow I'm back at the hospital after my MMC in January. I should be going back on Clomid having lost 1.5 stone to help with its effectiveness.
I can't decide if I'm excited or nervous to go :/
my doctor is brilliant and I now always see her after refusing to see the jjunior docs anymore after them being uncaring and inaccurate.
I've been ttc 4 years 3 months so it's been nice to have a break. I can't decide how I feel but I'm trying to stick with excited. Round 6 of Clomid here we come.
Sorry to blabber I just need to spill out the contents of my brain.

Good luck. I hope it all goes well. You should be excited :)

Thanks, I guess I'm just scared to get back into what's a difficult journey.

All the best! I think it's pretty understandable to be nervous and excited! It amazes me the strength women like you have going through long TTC journeys. Tons and tons of baby dust to you!

Well it turns out the NHS have changed their rules and I can't have more treatment from them :(

Sorry to hear that - can they do that?? I hope you can appeal or something. As if this isn't a stressful experience enough :hugs:

They've changed their guidance on Clomid from 12 months use to 6 apparently. It's not a local level change so I don't see what I can appeal.

So sorry to hear that! (Apologies if I sound dumb here-I'm not in the UK and don't understand the intricacies of your healthcare system). Could you get a doctor to write you a script for clomid and then pay for it out of pocket? It's my understanding that it is a relatively inexpensive medication.

It's no longer approved for usage longer than 6 months over here. So they wouldn't give it. Also, as far as I know, it's hard to get drugs of that nature privately, certainly without going through a specialist.
