how long would it take him to get there from school? if it doesnt take long he might make it in time for the 3 appointment? most doctors surgerys run late anyway lol.
If he isnt able to be there its not the end of the world sweeps arent that bad i promise. When i had mine my DH had to stay behind the curtain anyway so he couldnt hold my hand anyway. Plus the chances of anything happening on your due date even with a sweep are pretty thin your more likely to be early or even late!
Could you ask your midwife for an appointment while your oh is on his lunch break?
It would take him just under an hour to get to mine from his school :/
My midwife usually has her last appointment at 3, which is why I'm worried.
Now I think about it though, I'm pretty sure she only works at the surgery on a Monday, so for my due date she'd come to my house. Do you think if asked her, and explained the situation, I could get her to come at about half 4 ??
Or is that asking to much do you think ?
xx
i've never heard of a midwife doing a sweep at home so i really dont know. But maybe if you rang her and asked where the appointment would be and if she could do it after 3 you'd have a better idea of what you could do?
