I am not really sure how to deal with this one! Aidan is the king of delaying tactics and every night before he goes to bed he gets on the loo for a wee and usually does a poo too.
He is now taking ages and ages, he won't let us stay in the bathroom and never says he is finished, I just give up and forceablly remove him after about 20mins! I know he doesnt need that long as when he used to use the potty in the lounge he was on and off within 2 mins! But then I'll feel bad if I end up making him get off before he is really finished.

He plays with the loo roll, takes stuff out of the cupboard that he can reach and generally messes about. But as soon as you say right enough is enough off you get he goes mental saying he hasn't finished.

What to do?!

I shall be stalking, as Tobias is the king of prevaricating!!
He does it at 5 in the morning though to stop being put ack to bed.
To be honest, once he starts playing around, that usually means he is finished, as he concentrates very hard on pooing.
But no real advice, sorry.

Oh yes with us it's I need a drink, a tissue, another story, another blanket

I'm not sure what to advise I would probably do what your doing but maybe after 10 mins 20 is a long time

My LO does this too!
He always needs the World's biggest poo at naptime or bedtime!
xx
