So last night I was complaning that my BH were nearly all the time. If they weren't a million an hour they were quite long. I decided to just go to bed and fell asleep for a while before waking up at 3am. My BH were the same, every few minutes and lasted for about a minute at a time. I went downstairs and watched some tv and then at about 5am I went to the toilet and had what was pretty much a show. I already had this a while ago but this time it was a lot more. I didn't say anything as my whole house was a sleep. By 6am the BH felt different. They were slightly painful yet they were not as often as before. Before it was nearly all the time and now it was about 2 an hour. I left it for a little longer but it didn't really feel right so at 6.30am I woke up my Mum and told her. She told me to ring my midwife. I rang my midwife and she said they could be contractions and to come in if I could. My Mum drove me up to the hospital and we met FOB there. The midwife did an internal check and said that was my show
however the baby hasn't dropped yet (which she thinks will be in a couple of days
). She said I was having mild contractions and gave me some drugs (can't remember what as by this time it was about 8am and I had been up since 3am and soooo very tired) she also hooked me up to some machines to monitor Daisy's heartbeat. By 10am the contractions were going and by midday we were told that we could go home. If this is contractions they weren't too bad. Still dreading full blown ones! She did tell me that she thinks Daisy will be here in the next 2 weeks and can't even see her staying put until September :S I know it sounds silly but I am one of the youngest in my class at school and it annoyed me sooo much so I kinda don't want Daisy too... Guess we shall see. Also my baby shower isn't until 1st September plus I am moving house on Friday! Daisy needs to stay put a little longer I think.
