Good luck with the results. As you say, once you know what the problem is, you can do something about it! We did home tests first - and each time got negative. We decided to ignore it for a bit and somehow hoped it would go away or the tests were wrong but in the end you have to face facts.

Dont be worried (easier said than done!), there at least is a solution to the problem!

I know how devastating it is to find this result and knowing that the only real chance of pregnancy is ICSI, but the problem was there even when you didn't know and it is better to know and decide what to do then to go through months and months of hoping for a bfp when the chances are zero.

It took me some time to accept the situation and get over the 'it's not fair, why my lovely OH etc...', and almost three months later, i still get angry at times, but I am soooooo grateful that my GP referred us when we did as I can't imagine how I would feel each time AF comes if I didn't know that we are ttc against the odds.

I would give all for everything to be normal and going back to the ttc forum rather than this one, but now we have the choice to do icsi and to look back and think that at least we did all we could.

good luck to you and hubby. I hope things will move forward for you guys. I understand normal procedure would be for him to be referred to a urologist and infertility specialist. I really cross my fingers for you that your GP will now understand the seriousness of the situation (in terms of ttc)
