Blueyedgirl1 i just want to say so sorry for your loss and we are all here for you. I have had 2 mc's and i know how heartbreaking it is. Im sending lots of hugs prays and buckets full of babydust to you. Please don't say sorry because you feel your bringing a happy thread down we're all in it together to offer support through the good and the bad! Praying you get your BFP as soon as possible.
 
Hi could you please add me to the list to test 2nd January which would be CD30 for me. AF has been all over the place for me, last one was 27 days, the one before that was 37. Usually I am between 28-30 days, so I figure a test date of the 2nd is a good guess.

Liz - congratulations on your BFP.

Blueyedgirl1 - just wanted to say sorry for what happened. I have had 3 miscarriages, it is devastating but I agree it's a good idea to get out & about. Are you going to try again next cycle?

I got out today, a bit of grocery shopping and I did alright, and it was good to see the world going on around me. Cried at a few babies, but they were cute babies so that helped.
We are going to try again as soon as my first AF has arrived. I'm so tempted to just launch into TTC straight away but have to remember I've got holes in various bits of my anatomy and trying to grow something in an unstable environment would only go wrong again.

Ok ladies, we suffered a mmc in October and I think I had the :witch: make her visit last week :wacko: We had decided on doing the SMEP as were impressed with the statistics however we are failing miserably :cry:

Firstly we didn't start :sex: until CD1O then we skipped yesterday (CD12) and I wanted to know does this mean we have messed up severely or can we just stick to the plan from today?
I am taking clomid and on my successful cycle I ovulated CD17 which theoretically means that we still have a few days to build up :spermy: reserves??

Any advice is welcome :flower:

Don't worry if you miss a day or two here and there. The most important part is the 3 consecutive BDs around Ovulation.
You can look at my chart (in my signature) and I missed a BD session during the "every 2nd day period" and still got a BFP this cycle..

Have I added you to the test date list? I can't remember... :dohh:

I have been doing my OPK and although there are slight lines they are no-where near as dark as control line. Does anyone know if it means my hormone level is rising for ovulation if I am starting to get second lines come up?

I would love to be added to the plan, I am due to test the 15th January. Not holding out much hope though. I have a DH who has a very low sex drive :cry:

You're not ovulating til the line is as dark as the control line.. so keep testing...
Make sure you're testing in the afternoon/evening & not the morning..
Once you get your first + OPK, start testing twice a day from then on so you know almost exactly when you Ovulate!

I'll add you to the list momentarily (it's on page 1 of this thread).
I hope DH gets on board! Is he taking vitamins??
 
Poor DH can't take general multivitamins as they contain zinc for :spermy: mobility and he is on warfarin so it interferes. I did have him on a high lychopene diet when we first conceived but at the moment he hasn't re-started it again.

I know you don't ovulate until the test line is as dark as the control line but I have always wondered why sometimes I get faint lines and sometimes none at all, just thought perhaps it was to do with surging hormones.

You ovulate about 12-36 hrs AFTER the first dark line.. that's why you have to keep testing even once you get a dark line so you know when it starts to fade again. And the day it fades again, that's the day you actually ovulated.

Have you gone to a doctor to check that you actually do ovulate?
Maybe your DH can discuss what he can do to help increase his drive & motility with his doctor too....
 
I had testing done in July to confirm that I wasn't ovulating and was put straight on clomid 50mg. We know it works as I OPK and BBT and we fell our first month which we sadly lost.

We also don't think that DH has any :spermy: issues as his chaps completed the mission the first chance an egg was made available to them :haha: I am just impatient to get a sticky :bfp: It has been almost a year of ttc and it is sad to think that we could have had our baby by now.
 
I have a quick ??? Im so confused right now, im 9 dpo and ive tried so hard not to poas but, gave in this morning :dohh: and got a BFN. My bbt chart is so confusing to me i test every morning at 6 am, beside cycle day 20 i tested 15min early cause i woke up and didnt not want to take temp just cause i was abit early so, here is my chart what do you ladies think about it? I wish this month was so my month, I have been trying for 34 months and next cycle im doing my second hsg which my first one was good considering i only have one tube. Tatorcake - Hi :wave: don't want to intrude but that's your own personal link but we can't get to it (only you can when you sign into FF). When you are on your chart page, on the L-hand side down a little there will be a button saying My Home Page and click on it. Then this will be the page that others can view. If your chart is not on it just go to My Home Page Settings again on the L-hand side and add your chart. HTH

When you are at My Homepage you can copy and post that link.
