Spitting up all the time!!

Elyse NEVER spit up much at all, probably 3 times her entire life, until about 2 weeks ago. Now it is everyday.. not after every single feed, but she is spitting up quite a lot. She started spitting up before she had her 4 month vaccinations and before I tried baby rice with her- so I think I can eliminate these two things, but I have cut out the baby rice anyway.

Anyone know why this could start up suddenly? Could it be to do with teething? The weather's been the same as it's been for weeks here.. crappy, cold, rainy, damp, overcast.. not much of a summer..

Hey hun,

Alexander started spitting up around 3 months and has never stopped. It has been so frustrating because no one will really help us with it. We are finally going to the doctor next week and asking for a prescription for reflux because he is still spitting up after being on solids for almost 2 months.

Anyway, back when he was spitting up a lot when he was little the nurse did say to stop baby rice because that was a sure sign that he was not ready for it. We did, he still spit up.

Less volume of feeds more frequently might helps, making sure to have her sit upright for a longer period of time after each feed, not jostling her around right after....those are only a few things we have tried.

tasha my LO has started doing this as well and i was told to feed her little and often and to stop with the rice and porriage until later on.

since i have stopped giving her solids and more feeds she seems to be better.x.
