I just posted about the same kind of situation.. I have brown spotting right now for the past 3 days. I don't usually spot and waiting to see what happens.

Hi Jess.

AF showed up right on time for me. I spotted a tiny amount on 6dpo and then from 11dpo right up until she came - which has NEVER happened before. I'm not usually a spotter until the morning she's due.

Hey, I am sorry to hear that. Can you believe I am in the same situation? My spotting began on 9dpo and I am 12dpo and it is still here with on and off AF type cramps. I didn't have any yesterday but I have some now. Siiiggh. Sucks

I think I am 17 DPO. I had 3 days of brown spotting (really thick and dark at times) then 2 days of very light red spotting and now it is back to a brown stringy spotting/orangish

Tested BFN yesterday am....

I know deep down that was not AF.

Anyone else have the same?

I had heavy dark brown spotting a few days before expected AF last cycle... I was even kinda crampy. Then it went away, and I was getting super excited at 17dpo (even though I was getting BFNs also). On the 18th day, I got my dang AF. I was really upset, because I've heard that if you have elevated temps above cover line for 18 days straight, you are most likely prego. My temps were above the cover line and AF wasn't showing, and I really got my hopes up. Then on that 18th day, temp dropped below cover, and AF came on full force.

But that doesnt necessarily mean you're not prego!!! A LOT of women have spotting before getting a BFP, and if you're late for AF, there's still a chance. I'd test again in another couple days.
