Spotting at 8dpo

I don't usually ovulate on my own but have used soy and my chart has me at 8dpo which is great that I have ovulated at all. Yesterday I had the cramps I always get the day before I start spotting and expected it today and it has so now 8dpo is too early for spotting and I will probably get AF tomorrow or Friday. I used to have a 12/13 day lp. Does this mean my lp is now a problem? I can't garentee I will even ovulate again but will be trying soy again next cycle.

No it doesn't have to mean your Lh will always have to be short, after my mmc my first cycle I had a 9 day lh which was unusual 2nd cycle it went back to 12.
I hope the spotting means something else this time! Xx

I wouldn't worry. Just because you are spotting doesn't mean that AF is here. For the last two cycles I started spotting on 9dpo but AF didn't actually arrive until several days later but still had an 11 day LP. Just wait to see when AF actually arrives to see if it affected your LP.
