spotting instead of pd??? (after clomid)

I was scheduled to get my pd yesterday but it never "officially" came. I spotted the day before that, yesterday and today, but not with the usual pd as I'm use to. We've been ttc 2 and 1/2 yrs and this is my first month on clomid. Is this a side effect to the clomid? Or can you still be preg while spotting?

Do you normally spot before your period? If you do then perhaps the Clomid has lengthened your luteal phase and this is the first sign of its appearance.
However spotting in early pregnancy is also very common. You could take a test in the morning to find out. Good luck

I don't know but I have heard spotting is a common sign of pregnancy in general. My friend was trying for a while and had a luteal phase defect and she got spotting when she got pregnant and the spotting continued for a while. She is still pregnant. If you have any concern I would recommend you see your doctor, especially if you are worried about an ectopic. Try not to worry at this stage though I'm sure you will be fine
