Hello!
I'm currently on cd 11 of what will probably be a 30 day cycle (that's what the last few have been on average). It started yesterday with brown discharge and when checking cervix dark red (fresh) blood coated my upper finger. It's not enough to even warrant a panty liner, but is definitely blood and when I use the loo I noticed small pieces of tissue passing.
I guess I'm just looking to see if anyone has had this type of spotting pre ovulation and if there was ever a reason determined or if you found anything to help prevent it. I would estimate that I'll ovulate on cd 18 at the soonest so don't believe it's due to ovulation.
I had a chemical back in August and ever since then I have spotted as AF approaches (never spotted prior to chemical). I also had a cervical polyp that was removed and thought perhaps it grew back, that would explain the fresh blood when checking cervix but not really the tissue pieces.
Thank you all for reading and any advice you can offer. I have 2nd appt with fertility specialist tomorrow and will definitely bring this up but have heard from so many women that doctors never really have an answer for spotting. I've had many ultrasounds and endo was never mentioned, I guess it could be low hormones causing things to shed too early, but thought that would happen more in the luteal phase and not pre ovulation.
