spotting on cd8

Hi y'all! I've been having some spotting today and just now passed a blood clot :/ I have also been having cramps, which I never have, not even during af. has anyone else experienced this? AF stopped on cd5.

Only thing I can think of is BCP. If your just coming off BCP it can cause weird spotting for a few cycles. As far as the clot I asked my OB that my last visit and he said not to worry about it. He said blood can pool in your vagina(tmi sorry) overnight and start clotting and by the time you get up to pee the clot dislodges from there and comes out. But if you continue to spot and pass clots even after hormones regulate I would see your Dr. I hope I've helped

Update. I'm still having some light bleeding and cramps. Idk what is up with me. I took a opt and it barely had 2 lines. Normally by now the second line is a bit darker. So idk. If I'm still having issues by the 2nd I'm going to call my Dr.
