I know this might be a silly question but I know in pregnancy you have to be careful about some herbal teas.

Anyone know anything about Starbucks peach tea latte and if its "safe".

Thanks so much.

What's in it? I'm sure they'd tell you the ingredients haha.

And on another note, from a Google search of that peach tea latte it popped up it was a drink only available in certain parts of Canada... dang it, it sounded yummy XD

This is the base of what the tea is made of...

A combination of candied peach, pineapple, chamomile blossoms, lemon verbena, and rose hips—Teavana® Peach Tranquility is a relaxing treat indeed. Caffeine free herbal tea.

I probably wouldn't drink it, not much of it anyway. Here's why

Right I got excited for a minute!!

Dang, that drink sounds delicious.

On the link the above poster provided, it does mention quantity, large amounts or medicinal amounts, can produce effects. Chances are you'll be fine but I totally understand if you want to be cautious.

Teas are SO confusing when it comes to ingredients to watch out for, so many ingredients!

Oh man, I was in the bank the other day (across from Starbucks) and one of their baristas came round with a bunch of these drinks in little sample cups and wow......talk about delicious!! :D I don't usually go to Starbucks but this small treat made my day! haha

Yeah, I'm really pragmatic about dosages and stuff with most things (like I know the amount of silycilic acid you can absorb from a topical cream is nowhere near what you'd need to cause any sort of issues with baby), but since you never know exactly how much of any one ingredient is steeping out of a tea brew I'm a bit more on the cautious side with teas.
