Hi all

Anybody started to feel more nauseous in the second trimester? I didn't get that much morning sickness in the first trimester but have suddenly started feeling more tired, dizzy and nauseated. I checked my blood pressure at home and it wasn't low. I have gestational diabetes so not sure if this is related. Also have some other issues so bit worried about bubs.

In any case, any pointers anybody on how to reenergise and feel less sick?

This happened to me! I had a sudden onset of morning sickness around 19/20 weeks. I was also exhausted and just generally felt awful. It lasted a few days. I googled it at the time and apparently it's common. Feel better!

Also, I found that avoiding high carb/high sugar stuff did help curb the nausea a bit. The nausea was much worse when I was dealing with plunging blood sugar from a bagel or cereal. I would say stick to whole grains and proteins (probably your GD diet anyway) and hang in there.
