I did EC with my oldest starting at 3 or 4 days old. She went all the time so it was easy to catch SOMETHING. With Leo, though, he goes less but will let us know better than Violet ever did, after he has peed. I'm not sure what his pre-pee signals are. With a few poops, I've gotten him to go in the sink after a tiny amount gotten in the diaper. He doesn't poop as much as Violet did either, so more work is involved in finding patterns.
Anyway it's all feeling new again. Any tips even though I've been down this road before? Now that my mom is no longer around to help out, I do feel more comfortable doing things like having him diaper free with a prefold tucked between his legs. Been doing that for a couple hours and it seems to be helpful.
