starting clomid without a period

hi al, im currently on cd 43 and i rang up fs today and hesaid i maybe able to start clomid without a bleed,, has any1 else herd of this x

Before my first appointment with the fertility specialist I went over four months without AF showing up. So the fertility specialist put me on progesterone first to start AF before beginning a Clomid regimen. She said that you needed to have AF first because you don't want all that buildup on the uterine wall because it's not conducive to implantation. So your AF gets rid of most of the buildup...

Your fs is frankly being unprofessional. You shouldn't take clomid without a bleed. It doesn't start your cycle off but it does have to be taken at the beginning. Bear in mind we release different hormones at different times of the cycle, plus you need to clear out the lining or implantation will be impeded. You should have been given provera to bring on a bleed. Go and ask your gp. Mine gave me some when I didn't ovulate on my second cycle and got no period. I got af within a week.

Iv got to go for a hcg serum blood test today and he is givin me something to strt a period cos I said I wasn't happy to take clomid without a bleed
