Starting nursery but won't take a bottle!

Hey,

My lo is 7 months old, I am breastfeeding and weaning is going well. She has 3 meals a day and feeds every 3 hours. She is starting nursery on Aug 1st in prep for me to return to work at the end of Aug. I am very concerned because she will barely tolerate a bottle or feed from a cup. I left her for 3.5 hours the other day and she only drank 2oz. I know that she will at least feed from me first thing in the morn, have 3 meals at nursery, and be able to feed from me in the eve, but milk is supposed to be their main source of food until 1 Does anyone have any words of wisdom or experience of a similar experience?

Sometimes can e a matter of 1) finding the right bottle 2) someone else doin the feeding ,

My son would only take the orthodontic wife mouth NUK bottles and only from someone other then me and only if they held him away from them ( if they tried a cradle hold he would try to nurse from them)

I have tried all of the bottles under the sun, and she will drink from it, she knows how to feed from a bottle and a sippy cup, but just gets all agitated because she clearly wants the real thing I have given the bottle to my mum and partner to try but we're making little progress. I guess I am just quietly hoping the nursery staff will be able to crack it!

Might be rough the first few days , but she will eventually take the bottle at nursery , babies Are smart she won't starve her self

If she'll take it sometimes but just wants the real thing, I think she'll adjust well at nursery. Mine was the same way and it just took a few days for him to get used to the idea that at daycare the milk comes from a bottle. Nursery staff are used to these issues and they will know all the tricks to try and will persist patiently until she's taking it better.
