This thread was started by my friend Mrs WKJ and she is having a beautiful daughter m so happy for her!!, now I am thinking to continue the same plan from this cycle Onwards..

SPERM MEETS EGG PLAN

you will “try” every other day starting on the eighth day of your cycle (CD8). The timing of this is based on how long sperm live, realistically a few days under ideal conditions. On the tenth day of your cycle (CD10) you will begin daily testing with OPKs (ovulation prediction kits) and upon receiving a positive OPK you will “try” 3 more days in a row. Skip one day and give it one more try.

My cycle is about 30 days usually

Yeah let's make this the BFP thread!

I decided why not get it, it won't hurt my chances at least, and since I'm not temping or anything I'd like to get a better idea of when I o.
Are you charting/temping/anything like that?

yeah I have decided to start temping again so temping this cycle and m opk and ferning too using fertile focus and my ewcm also tells me when m fertile so all f this are sufficient i guess

Yeah I'm the same my ewcm is pretty obvious when it comes along! haha...
But no I'm not gonna temp just poas ovulation sticks. It'll be interesting to see if my fertility app is right at all about my o day!

oh alright but I would say if you add temping you will be sure shot of when you ovulate but yeah opks are enuf ..so we are so early in our cycle soon the bd marathon going to begin yay!!..lets keep us updated!!

I just ordered it today and it's supposed to come tomorrow or Friday, so I'll probably just start when it comes so I'll have it figured out by the time I o, haha. Probably won't use the preseed yet though, I don't know! I haven't even told my dh that I ordered it
I don't think I'll temp just because I wake up so irregularly, usually I wake up when my dh goes to work and then I fall asleep again and I'd definitely forget to temp all the time!

Ladies, just to help you out for future reference. If you have not had a progesterone blood draw around CD 21 or so, get one done to confirm that you ovulate. Once thats done there's no need to temp, OPK's will be enough, thats according to my Reproductive Endo

Thanks Ariannda, I was just mentioning about progesterone checkup in another thread I have got mine it was around 15 and my doc said I ovulate so that part is done for me...but since m starting smep so temping would give me another assurance that I am doing enuf bd around O as per the smep plan!!

In the end I think I'm just too lazy to temp anyways... at least I'm gonna try just OPKs to start with. I really really really hope it's gonna stick for us this month!

Gosh can't believe it I put in the wrong house number for my shipment from amazon so now it's all returning back to sender - and it's the weekend so it's gonna take forever to get it! Ugh!!!
