Starting to feel real now :)

So i had my docs appoitment today to get everything booked in

My doctor was great. I have to go back on monday to see a nurse to have some swabs taken due to my green CM, probz have a yeast infection or something as iv been told infections are common in pregnancy.

In the morning got to ring up and book to see a midwife, who will visit my home and arrange my 1st scan

Thats great, 2 days after I found out I was pregnant I rang and booked to see the doctor for 2 days later, the first scan at 7weeks followed by midwife booking in at 8 weeks, then a private scan at 9 weeks, then hopefully Ill have the NHS one at 11 weeks........ its as if I needed to do all this to acknowledge it was really happening lol.


Do you mind me asking, when you say green cm, is it proper green, or like a tiny of yellowy/green?
I often thought cm in the last pregnancy was a yellowy almost green colour and put it down o pregnancy, and its a little like this again, but again put it down to pregnancy. Its def. more yellow than green tinged.

lol yeah i just crnt wait till i have a scan and i see heartbeat to make it all seem real !

erm its not very green, its a rele light green with a very small slight of yellow.

I suppose Im worried about an infection causing the last miscarriage and if its still there - when I miscarried I did have a blob of green cm but the dr on the phone said unless I was hot or in pain etc. it was probably fine.

Mine is def. yellow at the moment but will be keeping a close eye on it.

My scans are all about every 2 weeks as I needed the reassurance, even though I know Ill still panic lol! But Im trying to stay positive, with DS I worried a lot, and when I look back now I wish Id have just enjoyed it and relaxed (easy to say now that I know it all turned out ok) so Im trying to apply it to this time too!

Your lucky to get scans, i asked my doc about it and he said it wud be better not to have scans, because if i had a scan and saw babysheart beat and IF i was to miscarry later on it wud be harder cuz iv seen the heartbeat, which i understand i guess.

Plus iv only got 3 weeks to go till im 12 weeks so i guess its not that long to wait

yeah i had an infection last time and believe thats wat caused the MC.

but im sure this time will be fine for both of us and will be holding our babies soon =]
