Starting to get scared of when labor will hit

Hey Ladies!!
Can I hear some of your stories about when your labor hit, what you were doing, how you knew it was upon you?

This is my second child and i'm 36 weeks but I was induced with my first one so I knew when to expect labor... With this one i'm starting to get scared that it will hit me any day now or time and i'm not sure what I would do first other than panic lol.

P.s. Did your water break first?
My water didn't break with my first till I was well in to labor in the hospital.

I was a week overdue with no signs that labour was going to start. OH and I just finished I went to the washroom to clean up and while I was sitting on the toilet I felt a pop. I went out and told OH that I thought my water just broke, and he asked what I ment "thought it broke." By the time he finished saying that my 1st contraction started. They just kept coming so we started timing and the were 4mins apart. We left for the hospital and by the time I got there I was 6cm!

I was at home and realized I was in a bit of pain, took a bath and it kept on....slept through them all night water broke as she crowned

Second time I was at the grocery and coffee shops unable to walk around 5 cm hahahaha hahahaha hilarious when I think back!!! Water broke while crowning again

I was out for a meal and had a painful cramp that lasted about 30 seconds, then 10 minutes I had another, 10 minutes later another!

My waters broke 2 hours after the first cramp but I was home by this point and it wasn't enough to do anymore than soak my trousers

I'm a bit concerned about this too as I am travelling down to London for work until 38 weeks and don't fancy my waters breaking on the tube!

I was asleep. My water broke at 4:45 in the morning. I also felt a pop and a lot of water came out. I had no signs of labor but the day before was my 39 week appointment and I was a fingertip dilated and 75% effaced and was still only a fingertip dilated when I went into the hospital after my water breaking. Lol.

My contractions didn't start for about an hour after my water broke. I was in labor for about 6.5 hours. I had a pretty good experience.

Iam exactly in the same place as you. I was induced with my son and now labor could be any day. I'm super anxious and nervous as to what to expect with natural labor. I've been getting cramps and strong braxton hicks for weeks. I've also been at 1cm for 3 weeks. Wish I knew exactly when he was coming! Due Friday do hoping he's on time. I had my water broken in the hospital as well.
