I know BF burns calories but I am eating like I am possessed! Does anyone have any suggestions for easy to grab snacks that are filling yet not packed with sugar? I am trying to keep myself on an even keel but find if I don’t eat almost constantly I can end up feeling faint and weak for a good few hours even after I have refuelled. I’m just reaching for chocolate all the time - Easter hasn’t helped! Today I ate fruit and carrots with humous in an attempt to be healthy but they did not do the job at all!

Oatmeal has been my best friend when breastfeeding, I to am starving when I breastfeed so I make quick 1 minute oats a tablespoon of peanut butter then I add something sweet like honey or syrup it helps so much!

Sorry no tips. But I wanted to say that I too felt like I was starving all the time and was very thirsty too!! Unfortunately, I had no self control because when I got hungry I was/felt famished and ate whatever was insight, lol. Now, my baby is 5 months old and I can say I am not as hungry but still get thirsty. I did buy cashews and eat a handful each time I feel like snacking.

Almonds, yogurt, oatmeal, belvita granola bars, peanut butter these are my go to snacks.
