how long do the bottles stay sterile after you have taken them out of a cool water steraliser? Im just thinking if im out for a long day and Sophie needs mre than 1 feed and i pack 2 bottles and some formula and my hot water in a flask will both bottles stay safely steralised till i need to fill them with milk?

hope that makes sense

hi, bottles should stay sterile as long as they are not opened for 24 hrs. When i go out i make up a bottle and cool it early on, keep it cold and then re heat when I need it . Or, i take a sterile bottle with boiled water in and the milk powder in a seperate container.x

ok, so, i can take 2 bottles with the water inthem and take the powder seperately then add powder when she needs a feed and use my bottle warmer to warm it up. ok, i think its clear now! lol!! Thanks!

I'm sure many of you might have seen these before, but I only just spotted them in Boots and I was over the moon! :happydance:

Not only are they cheap (£2.99 for 5 bottles) but, if you are like me and worry yourself silly about keeping your bottles sterile whilst out and about, they put your mind at ease as each bottle is pre-sterilized and kept sealed until you need them.

Especially good if your going anywhere for a few days etc. and you don't want to have to worry about bringing a big old electric sterilizer with you!

Oh and also great for when you're late to clean the bottles and LO decided they are hungry NOW!

SORRY! I ment to post a new thread about that when I read this one, but somehow ended up replying. But never mind, still on topic hehe.

Hun what are they? I'd like to know as we're going away in April for a week and these sound like they might be useful.. whatever they are !!

Ok so now I'm officially a doofus LOL!!!

Lol forget it, I completely skimmed over the part about pre sterile bottles :haha: So sorry sweetie :hugs:

:) And there are other ones called Vital Baby, aparently they are less leaky.
