Steriliser troubles- Please help!

Hi all,

I have the TT electric steam steriliser. I bought it off eBay so i don't have a receipt or anything but it has worked fine for 2 months, until today.

It has stopped reaching full temp, it just feels warm and now hot like it normally does.
Could this be cos it needs descaling? I read somewhere to use citric acid, i have lemon juice in the cupboard could i use that? Has anybody here used that before and how do you do it?

If it is broken, i will get a new one that would take TT normal and CTN bottles..which would you recommend? My last steriliser was a microwave one that melted as you can see i have great luck with these things! That is why i have stinky Milton as a back up!

Lots of questions i know but any help would be gratefully received!

Hi ya,

sorry i cant help with your problem. But if you do need to get a new sterliser - i got the TT CTN one and its fab - no issues with it and really easy to fill and use.

Hope you get yours fixed.
