Hey
Does anyone have any advice on what steriliser is the best? Also do you think its better to buy a kit that has the bottles, teats etc etc.
Sorry I'm just kind of confused by whats best.
Thanks

I think it's personal preference really, but i got the Philips Avent microwave steriliser, which came with 4 bottles. I bought another pack of 10 bottles and a starter kit that has everything in it teats, bottle brush, that kind of thing. Managed to get them all on sale too - boost! x

I would like to try the Tommy Tippee one but with my son I had the Avent (not the microwave one) and it was great.

From my experience, Philips Avent is fantastic, not the microwave. I remember I bought one and forgot to check it fit in the microwave, I just assumed it did but when I came home with my first baby I went to sterilise the bottles and the bloody thing didnt fit so I had to send my Dad out to get me an electric one!!!! lol!!!

How many bottles are recommended to have, just as I have no idea lol! /i can just see me ending up with loads or not enough.

Hi
I have the Dr Browns Microwave sterliser and 6 bottles. They are meant to be excellent for Baby's who are colicy (sp?) and seen as I suffered with colic as a baby Im taking no chances!!

Word of warning...they suggest a digital microwave for any M/W steriliser's as you have to get the timing right. (dont want to under do them, IYKWIM)

xx

Anther one with Philips Avent microwave steriliser - worked fine for me and I'll be reusing it for the new baby. Also used the Avent bottles (which I'll warn everyone - they LEAK!!!) and the manual breast pump.

I've found this one online which seems a really good price, just wondering what everyone else thought and if you know much about the range.

Closer to nature are good if you want to combine breast and bottle, I was going to pick these ones but Dr Browns won becasue I had so many recommendations.

Saying that, my SIL used the ones you've spotted with my niece and never had any probs.

I used the avent steam steriliser for my daughter 8 yrs ago and have just bought another 1 for this little girl it came with 2 bottles, bottle brush and dummies all for £30. Ive bought 2 packs of 4 bottles not the little ones though, im only going back to this one as i knew how good it was and the bottles are very good preventing colic. I think its a personal choicw in the end thoughx
