Stiches come out?

I had disolving stitches so I was expecting maybe one or two to fall off, but a long line just came out when I wiped. Is that alright? It was about 10cm.

But shouldn't they dissolve? So they should stay in until they are fully dissolved?

Well the doctor did say to expect to see some in the shower. Hmm.. I don't know!!

That's weird, I never saw any of mine. They all dissolved into nothingness

It might have been a continuous stitch they put in instead of individual ones. You should be ok cause it's been 2 weeks any way. Have you had a look down there to see if the area has healed together?

i never saw mine come out and i had quite a few?!!!

If you have stitches that don't dissolve after surgery they advise you to have them removed 10-14 days later, so you should be fine - even if it's still painful the tear will have healed enough not to need stitches there to hold it x

Yeah I looked and it's fine. There's still a few stitches in though, should they not be?

That's ok too...they'll dissolve on the inside and fall off or just come out on their own x
