Still bleeding 5 weeks later...

Just wonder if any other ladies have bled this long. I was around 13/14 weeks at the time of mc and hcg at 84,000. It was a natural miscarriage. Last Wednesday it was down to 113 so hoping it's mostly gone now. (Waiting for my results from yesterday's test) Anyway, I'm still bleeding. It's fairly light and has been for most of the time, minus a few days of gushing. I've talked to my doctor and she said it was fine. I did have a fever for a day or so and thought I might have an infection/,left behind tissue, but apparently I don't . It's just taking a while to clear out? I was just really hoping this would all be done by two weeks and I could BD again!!!

Anyway, any other ladies experience something similar?

UPDATE:

hcg @ 42 as of last Wednesday, testing again this week

Bleeding still light, not even soaking a pad in one day (still changing them of course) it's mucusy and light red/pinkish

Really just wanting to know other women who have been through this. Thanks

Stay positive hun x ur over the worst - bleeding should be all done within 4-6 weeks so ur almost there. Sorry to say it but it's just everything clearing out and should start to ease off now over the next few days / week. My first mmc at 9 weeks I bled for 4 weeks but my second one I bled for only 2 weeks - they r all different and just so long as the bleeding does stop in the next couple of weeks u should be able to get going bding again x hope it all works out for u hun xx

I bled for 2 months after my miscarriage. I don't think that's particularly normal but everyone's body just takes different amount of time to process it. I know it's frustrating and difficult to move on when you have such a painful reminder every day.

I hope you get your rainbow soon xx

Thanks for your response ladies. Glad to know it's not abnormal. Had my hcg level checked Wednesday and it was 42. Not sure if there really is any correlation but hoping since that's almost gone , the bleeding will be too.

Tonight I noticed the bleeding is kind of pink and not really red anymore. Anyone else experience that? Is that a good sign?

Yes I would say that is a good sign hun x pink is getting lighter so hopefully fingers xd it will start to ease off now - just be patient with ur body hun - it is just doing what it has to physically to get you better again -- it will be gone before u know it & u can start trying again then - hope u get ur rainbow soon xx

Is it possible to have retained product and no infection? I feel like a see like little bits of tissue pass, like tiny little specks, a little bigger than a grain of sugar.... My doctor isn't concerned, but I am. I just don't understand why I'm still bleeding, especially after some days it seems like it's all done. Then another little gush of blood. And some cramping. I just FEEL like maybe my uterus is still trying to get rid of something...

Or maybe this is just all normal part of miscarriage. I just want this behind me. I just want a baby.
