Oh the state im in.

Okay ive explained a few times on threads whats happeneing but ill give it another go for those of you who havent read one of them already

I am on CD48, approx 27dpo

I have had stabbing pains for the last week so I decided to go to the doctor to explain my late period and pains. I have had neg tests.

Explanation No. 1. they told me it was a uti, which was ruled out by a test.

No.2 Pregnancy, which was then ruled out by a test.

No.3 A hernia caused by my 'stitches from a stomach operation'. Please note i have NEVER had an operation on my stomach, my marks are pregnancy stretch marks. (i kid you not)

No.4 You are just late for a period and the pains are periods pains, come back in two weeks if your still in pain. At which point i walked out in tears

I know pain when i feel it, my doctors seem think im imagining it.

My pregnancy tests are still neg barring the odd evap. But my opks are pretty dark, the pics dont do them justice. My belly is so bloated and sore.

Im just at my wits end, i dont want to have to go to A&E for something my doctors should be doing
:cry::cry:

Anyone had this predicament?

The opks are not in order xxx

Didn't want to read and run hun, but awww feeling for you, you must be so frustrated by the doc's response and what is happening. From reading things on here some girls can go several weeks before :af: arrives or they get their :bfp:. I haven't experienced anything similar myself, but I really hope things get sorted. I am impressed with the OPK's do you normally test for OV each month and if you do how long ago did you OV??

Sorry I can't give more firm advice, but big  and will keep checking to see how you get on x x

could it be that your havign a painful ovulation?

I suppose it could be ovulation again but why would i have pos opks for so long. From CD21 - cd48??? I usually o around cd17 - 20. This month is just so weird.

All the opks were positive but have dried slightly fainter than they were when wet. The darkest one in the pic is the one i have literally just done and is still getting darker.

I have lost all faith in my doctors.

Do you have a family planning clinic near you? I know they are really set up for contraception, but they are certainly very knowledgable about 'women's stuff' generally. Either that or call your GP and find out if there are any doctors/nurses there who specialise in gyn? (Ask if there is a GPSI in Women's health or obstetrics working in the area...)

Good luck and I hope you get some answers soon.

Hiya hun I am in a similar situation...
I was until Friday on micronor (mini pill) but went to the docs because...my period was late, I have had heavy twice monthly bleeding since starting the pill but have had no bleeding since my "middle of the month" bleed 2 weeks ago (my actual period was due on 1st sept) all the 3 tests I have done have been :bfn: but I am wondering if due to my extra bleed in the middle of the month if I have tested too early ....maybe I am pregnant which is my my period is late but its too early to test? lol xxxx

Where exactly are your stabbing pains hun? Are they in the middle of your tummy or on one side? Do you have any other symptoms? Are your bowels ok? Are they further up your tummy?

Sorry for the spanish inquisition! Just it may not be related to your womanly bits at all you see, perhaps it could be something else?

The odd cycle is...well...odd. But occasionally our cycles do go a bit loopy for many many reasons. This may have been an anovulatory cycle, OPKs dont always guarentee Ovulations...just the hormonal surge that preceeds Ov which is present in our bodies at lower levels. Prolonged positive OPKs could be that you havent ovulated and your body has higher levels of LH in your system because the ovulation hasnt occured.

I really hope you feel better soon. *hugs*

Pain feels like its in my ovaries. Its like a pulsating feeling. It can be both sides at once or either side seperately.

All other areas of my bit and body are fine lol!!! Oh and i also have quite bad neck pain that goes up my left side to my ear and head.

But apart from that i feel okayish. Just genrally run down.

there is one more thing thats been niggling me though. I had grade 3 pre cancerous cells removed earlier in the year. Im hoping its all okay down there

Ah, I understand why you're worried Hun. Are you being followed up from your cervix point of view?

If the pain is not persistently on one side and flits between being on one side to both sides...it sounds very non-specific tbh. Perhaps it could be related then to an anovatory cycle and your LH surge is trying to promote ovulation. Or you could have ovarian cysts.

Exactly how bad is the pain Hun? Have you had pain killers?

If you went to A&E, they'd probably try to exclude abdo issues such as constipation, appendicits, uti and ectopic pg...the 'big four' abdo issues commonly seen in A&e.

Hugs xxx

It comes and goes. Not really there all the time. but when it is not even pain killers budge it.

Im due a smear in November (every 6months) but i dont think i can wait that long. They said any smear sooner wont show true results as they need atleast 6months for any cells to go (or even come back)

But now my periods are mucking up im getting nervous.

I know its not a uti or constipation. And i thought appendicitis was one sided and higher? I doubt itd be ectopic[ic as i think id be in more pain.

Oh i dont know, maybe im just odd

Appendicitis is traditionally on the right side of the abdo but actually has a lot of odd presentations... Can start near the belly button, start even on the left side...it can take a while to really kick in symptoms wise. Ectopic pg - not necessarily starts immediately with excrutiating pain. Both appendicitis and ectopic can be insidious.

I totally get why you are worried Hun. The fact your pain is intermittent really doesn't pin point to anything specific and still may not be related at all to your delayed cycle. In fact the worry about this may be delaying AF. I was once delayed for 6 weeks due to stress!

*hugs*

hmm, Im almost sure I see something on ur top preg test? I know its hard, but I guess all you can do is wait to see of AF arrives in 2 weeks, if not, go back to the docs and demand a blood test!!

Hon I dont think I can say anything that hasnt already being said by these lovely ladies but I want to say hang in there and I am sending you oodles of virtual :hugs: right now!

Thank you ladies :hugs: :flower:

Im now getting quite bad back pain so im going to book another doctors appointment on my next day off (Wednesday).

P.S i though i saw something on the test too but i was thinking theyd have to be alot darker by now.

CD49 and counting............................:dohh:

Do you think it could be a kidney infection?

eta - although that wouldnt explain lack of AF..

Thank you ladies :hugs: :flower:

Have you tested again hon? If its still getting bad then perhaps you should go to the walk in centre or A&E?

Good luck x

Hi Ladies,

I had the exact same problem last year and we eventually got to the bottom of it when i went private.

NHS said it was an "ovarian cyst" - but when my private doc operated on me it had wrapped itself round my fallopian tube.

Basically an ovarian cyst can cause the exact pain you are describing ( i know because i had it) and it can delay you periods and muck up your cycle.... The only way for it to be diagnosed is to be scanned. Im afraid that the only way your going to get a proper diagnosis is if you went to AE instead of your Doc.

I ended up keeling over with the pain, being taken to AE before it was diagnosed properly because my doc was being a tit! Needless to say im all better now x

I have nothing to add except be persistant! I don't know how the health care is where you live, but you need to get answers sooner than later. Good Luck and keep us posted.

CD 50!!!!!!!!!

My longest cycle EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't tested again as i have no money until tomorrow. Didnt book a GPs app as the pain subsided last night and was replaced by major heartburn.

Im just going to see how it goes. I don't think ill bother with the docs any more, the next time the pain comes again im off to A&E

Thank you ladies xxxxx
