What type of wipes are you all going to use on your babies? Im still confused about which ones have the least amount of chemicals. I think i might use cotton wool and water for the first few weeks but then what? Any suggestions? I would really like to make a decision and take advantage of the special offers around at the moment.

I used cotton wool and water for a week or so before it became a pain in the neck! After that I used Johnson's Fragrance Free wipes. My son has ezcema and quite sensitive skin but has never reacted to these. I find that anything with fragrance/parfum irritates him (and me!)

My favorite (I don't have my baby yet but I use them on my face) are eco baby wipes by earth friendly baby. They don't have a slick feeling to them like a lot of the major brands have if you know what I mean? And the smell is chamomile and calendula so its a really soft and fresh scent. There are noo chemicals though

I use Huggies pure! I love them, had all the different ones when ds was born but these are by far the better ones in my opinion! Have stocked up on them as they are buy one get two free at tescos at the min :flower:

I used huggies natural care with my dd and ds. They never reacted to them and the wipes did not smell either. I will be using them again for this baby. :)

the only brand i dont like is huggies because i always tear them,

i started off using johnsons fragrance free with dd but soon tried other brands and found them all to be very much the same, but i always use fragrance free, as baby wipes often smell really artificial

I'll use cotton wool and water for the first couple of weeks and then move onto pampers sensitive. Huggies seemed a bit dry or something to me. :)

I am making my own 8x8 square flannel wipes since I am cloth diapering I figured I may as well have the wipes be washable as well. I plan on making my own wipe solution and just spraying it on the individual wipes so it isn't so "wet".

Here are a bunch of diaper wipe liquid recipes. You can also make your own disposables by cutting a roll of paper towels in half, pouring this over it and storing them in a rubbermaid container.

I got loads of 100% cotton terry...well they have terry on one side, flannel on the other side.
