hi ladies!
Well i'm 8dpo, wrist nearly healed after last month's calamitous fracture!! Had lots of BD on the fertile days...no preseed this month....trying to just keep it all low key!
Totally feeling down tho...so thought the reason i'd be having a quiet Chrimbo thi year would be cos i'd be up the duff!!
My fella, who is a sweetheart, is being really good but my heart is broken!
Going to specialist on 19th jan....think i'm just waiting for that really, soo don't think this month will be a BFP but i'll wait and see.

xxx:nope:

Sorry it's a tough time hun, but, you never know ;) Fingers crossed you have no need to go see the FS... BUT, if you do, lemme just say how great an experience I had! I had my first appt a couple weeks ago (b4 I knew if I was prego or not)- which I wasn't and AF came on yesterday. So I went in today to start the process (scans, blood work) and I go on Clomid this Sunday. Then if all proceeds well, I have my first round (hopefully the only) of IUI this cycle!!!

It's not exactly how I saw it happening when I was 25- lol- but if this is how we are meant to get our lil one (at 37), then so be it. I'm totally on board! Sometimes in life it just takes more work to get what you want. I feel great that we are bring proactive and positive this is going to work for us!

I certainly hope you get that BFP you want NOW! hehe. Best of luck sweetie. Just know it's gonna happen and all worth it in the end! Baby dust!

wow Diva, just saw you're preggers!!
Congrats!!!
Yep we're off to the specialist on wed, my poor BF birthday bless him! Bit upset its come to this, he's being very supportive and bringing comedy to a stressful time!
i was talking to a girl at work today, she's 12 wks gone and was telling everyone how she panicked when she was ttc for 2 months before she fell preg!! nobody knows we're ttc...8 months now!! grrrr !!

Anyway Diva, thanks for the support, this site is my venting lifeline!!

And Congrats!!!!

Don't give up hon!! I also just had my first appointment with a FS last week and I feel really encouraged by it. There's lots of tests they can do and lots of treatment options. Also, a lot of women (of all ages) take about a year to conceive. Fingers crossed it will be your time soon xxx

Hiya, how's every1 doing? Im back to the start again. Trying to be mellow this cycle. Good luck all, babydust xx

Hiya!
yup still here!!
Went to FS last week, AMH taken, HSG for cd8 next cycle, :spermy::spermy: analysis for himself, all other bloods and tests ok and showing ovulation and normal fertile hormone levels.
I'm dpo5 today and for the first time in a while i'm TWW symptom spotting so maybe a little more optimistic that between nature and a specialist something will happen this year! 8 months TTC now and the last 4 months very well timed :sex::sex:....
Best mate had a healthy baby girl on sunday, she's 37 and got preg on 3rd month NTNP. Delighted for her but VVV hurted on the inside its not me...even to be pregnant now or know i will be soon ( i know! 'tomoro was promised to nobody'...thanks mom!) would wash away the past 8 months.

So AF:witch: arrived today so it looks like all hope of an au naturelle pregnacy are gone!!

booking my HSG today for CD8, himself is off to the SA clinic on tuesday and then back to FS on the 23rd feb for results and start process for IUI most likely!!
i think i knew it was going to be like this tho since chrimbo, all the hope for a natural BFP went out of me when the bells rang on NYeve, 7 months of ttc!

So i'm game on for whatever they want to do to me! Dr Rishi in the Rotunda seems like a lovely bloke and after all my sister has her beautiful 9 yr old twins from IVF there!!..haven't told anyone in the family yet that we are even trying...hoped to surprise everyone! crap:growlmad:

And hope the doc visits go well. Glad rotunda doc seems nice. Fx & much babydust for you & OH.

sorry AF got you RedClaire. :hugs: I had my HSG yesterday and have read that you're meant to be more fertile for the 3 months after this. It was a bit painful at the time and I had a couple of hours of cramping afterwards - but that was nothing compared to how it helped me emotionally to know that things were moving forward with treatments and tests. Also, you never know, that with all the tests and everything being booked - maybe this will reduce your stress levels so that you get that natural BFP - that's what I'm telling myself anyway as I've definitely been a bit less stressed since the tests started!! :hugs:
