Still spotting 13 weeks after c section =/

I had a planned cesarean 12 weeks ago, everything went ok and had no problems. My pain stopped 2-3 weeks after the operation, i still get the odd twinge every now and then. i got my period back about 4 weeks post op and was bleeding for about 10 days, i stopped for a few days but since then ive been spotting on and off every few days, im on the contraceptive pill too (since my 6 weeks check up) so i though that would of helped to stop it but it has had no effect. Im just concerned that its not normal or its something to do with my op rather than my periods/hormones just getting back to normal.. any advice or anyone else experienced this?

Hi hun, can you ask your health visitor about this to be sure it's OK? Just to reassure you a bit- I was still bleeding quite heavily at 12 weeks post section and was told that can be normal. It was worse after I'd been out and about or been active. I didn't get my af back until LO was 10months old though.
