still spotting ??

hi all i could do with some advice please, my natural m/c started 18 days ago , i passed the sac on the 3 rd day , and then about 2 days later the blood went brown ,but still thick and clotty , well it still has not stopped and although its light ,this does seem to be going on for a long while now and i am starting to wonder if maybe there is tissue that has not come away and is causing the bleeding to carry on, i was gonmna ring the dr on monday ,but dont want to look like i am just milking the situation or overreacting.

any advice welcome

I am sorry for your loss

I had ERPC 13days ago and still spotting. I have mild mild cramps (which i am secretly hoping are ov cramps) but no real pain and there is no smell to if (sorry tmi) so have not been worrying too much about it.

I think the hospital told me that if it continues after 2wks to get back in touch with them or if there was pain or smell. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will stop very soon... like today!

There is no harm in phoning the docs or midwife tomorrow and tell them you just want to check if that is normal. i'm sure they will not think you are overreacting and it will put your mind at rest. phone them in the morning.

my bleeding started on wednesday only stoped on frirday (9days) i think it depends on how you were preg to how much you bleed.. i would def give ur doc a call... its wat they are there for.... how far were you if you dont mind me asking... im here if you need someone to talk to... xxx

i was 10 weeks but babe died at 6 so i guess it would class as 6 weeks.

im so sorry for ur loss... i know how it feels.... hopefully ur bleeding stops soon.... i was 7 weeks but bub stop growing at 5 n i half ...

Maybe you should give the hospital a ring, even if its just to put your mind as ease. Thats what they are there for

Sorry for your loss hun ring the doc in the morning, i misscarried two weeks ago stoped bleeding 2 days ago.

I think 70% of my posts thusfar on this section of the forum has been on spotting frustrations. So, yes, I'm experiencing the same thing as you... or I was, because as of yesterday, I think the spotting finally stopped. I had spotted for 2 full months, first indiciations of a m/c, then the actual m/c, then what I thought could have been a period, then it paused for a day or two, then the spotting resumed for another 9 days.

In between the spotting, I did get checked by the doc, and revealed that my HCG was down to 7, and I had no infections. So really, my hormones were just taking a long time to adjust.
