Hi, new to this forum. Was on Loestrin 30 from being 13 to about 16.Then Loestrin 20 from 16- 24. Stopped taking my pill last April so have been off for over a year. I think the reason I've not fallen pregnant is lack of EWCM so have started taking Evening Primrose Oil ( two 500mg capsules a day) so hoping that helps this month... CD8 thus far.

Hoping someone can assure me my periods are normal-ish... They're 27-31 days long but I seem to have maybe three days tops of red blood and then 4- 7 days of brown, getting lighter and lighter? I remember when I went on the pill it was for heavy periods, but surely they would have come back as heavy since I came off the pill?

Mine never went back to the same as before after stopping BC years ago. Your period seems to be sort of long to me but mine has variations, too, and so far ive been told its normal.
Not sure if I was any help at all. I know it can take a while after BC. Wishing you luck!

Oh and ive heard you only take the primrose until ovulation each month as it causes the uterus to contract. What ive heard on here. You probably have already heard it but I figured just in case!

I thought it seemed long too, but good to hear that they do change. Wonder if my mum was making a big deal out of my periods because I remember them being heavy but I wonder if they were really *that* heavy now. I was 13 a lonnng time ago.

Yes I had read that just today on here! So I will definitely leave it after I've ovulated this time, thank you!

Your periods sound normal to me. There is quite a wide variation in what is normal. Don't worry if you don't see ewcm, it doesn't mean you're not making it. Watery cm at ovulation is still ok. But taking the evening primrose wouldn't hurt if you are worried. Good luck!
