Stinky Aptimel!

Is it normal for Aptimel to STINK of sour milk? Ergh the smell puts me right off! I know i'm not drinking it but is it normal for it to smell like this??

Not sure haven't smelt it since my eldest, but I remember SMA and cow&gate ready mixed smell like emulsion paint (maybe its just me)...

yep... and personally i think it smells better than SMA!! lol

It gets worse if you loose one like i did! I lost a bottle in the car and when i found it after just 2days it smelt like fish!!!

Yeah, they all stink!! I spilt some SMA in the car feeding LO on a long journey, didn't think much about it, wiped it clean at the time and forgot about it. The next morning when we got in the car there was a major smell!!!! Everything else in there was clean and tidy, it had to be the milk! I scrubbed the seats so hard to clear it away!!

Ugh, makes me not really want to give it to the babies! Stupid smelly stuff. Why can't it smell better?? I may have to write to Mr Aptamil...

yeah the powder stinks foul but the cartons smell really nice

I work on the Baby aisle for sainsburys and I think the cartons of Aptimel smell rank too. We occasionally get packs with one broken and it smells off and rank, it used to really turn my stomach at 2.30am! lol! My little man is on SMA and I haven't noticed that it smells..... hmm *goes off to investigate!*

sma stinks of sour milk to me, but the 1year plus sma and now cow and gate both smell lovely like vanilla milkshake! x

i found that apatamil stinks too its like yogurt/sour milk smell its horrible. Maggie got to a point where she was hardly having any then i was told to try Hipp Organic and its sooo much tastier and smell like evaporated milk it is really nice. She seems to prefer it x
