Stitch removal and labour (any advice!)

Hi All
I am finally having my stitch removed in 3 weeks (so excited to be getting back to a normal pregnancy!)
Just wondered if anyone else has any stories of how soon after it was removed they started in labour?

Delilah had hers out at about 36w I think....... and went 14 days overdue with a near-11lb Nathan!

My stitch was removed at the same time as my c-section at 38wks hun, so can't comment based on my experience. However, many many women who have a stitch removed go on for atleast 2-3wks afterwards xxx

myn was removed at 36 weeks in april this year, i didnt labour, and was induced at 38 weeks, i know how lovely it is when u have it removed you feel normal again x

Hi Ellahstruts, thanks for that, i cant wait to get it out now, but im hoping to go into labour soon after! Dont think my nerves can cope any longer and i only had 10mm of cervix left when they put the stitch in. I'll be on eggshells if they send me home!
