Usually I go with the same as you and a few other bits and bobs . Mine are not really interested in their stockings , they usually get overlooked.

I've not even thought about stockings this year. Probably won't fill them, piles get the full attention.

My two love the stockings I think it’s the novelty of it all however the stuff tends to go into a box and is never seen again which is why I go for useful bits like socks, toothbrush etc. Least they come in useful haha! I do get them some little toys though like hot wheels or hatch eggs that kind of thing.
Other years i’ve went a bit ott kept buying things forgetting how much I have til I get it all out but this year I have nothing with all money going towards holiday so they won’t have a big pile of stocking bits! I’m gonna try hunt for items in biggish boxes to fill out the stocking haha!
