Its also cos i erad somewhere that Ethan is a welsh form of 'John' and my papa who died recently was called John, and i just love the name. its really sad,

for girls i have savannah, paige, violet, ruby, scarlett, Farah, ava, emilie, isobella, have some others but cant remember them off my head,

catherine for a middle name, laura for a middle name, margret for a middle name and jean for a middle name, all middle names are after people, sister, auntie, great aunt who died and best friend who helped me thru depression years ago.

I love Savannah, i think it is a lovely name Now you need to think of an even better name for if it is a boy.

Ethan to be honest is very common anyway and i am not too keen on it. Evan is the welsh form of John chick xx

if its a boy i have no clue, she said prob a girl so im gonna pay for a private one to be sure, hopefully its a girl. if i had a boy and she had used that name then i would find it hard to hang out with her for a while. i would be grudging probably. if its a girl ill be fine, still annoying etc but itll be easy to forget if i have a girl.

i cant really afford a 4d private scan but i need to know for sure, otherwise id worry about it all the time. for the next 4 months.

my surname is pickles so i dont kno how savannah pickles goes, hahahahaha... hmmmm.

Ethan isn't the Welsh form of John. Ethan means "durable, firm, long lasting, strong" whereas John is obviously a biblical name which I think means garce of God or Gods duty or something? Anyway I know it's not the same as Ethan, and Ethan doesn't come from Welsh

I think Ewan comes is a form of John though. Maybe thats what you read?

maybe, evan ewuan whatever tbh it wasnt a deciding factor, i did read the strong firm meaning aswell, i just love the name ethan. it was just an added thing that id read that somewhere, not a deciding. it doesnt really mater i just love the name and feel a bit betrayed,

I can understand how you're feeling, this is why I don't tell anyone what our baby names are. We really like the name Max, and we were talking about it with DH's friend and his pregnant wife, well in October, along came their baby boy, called Max! I know they probably didn't steal it but it just annoyed me because now I feel like I can't use it if this baby is a boy.

well if the NHS sonographer got it wrong for me im still using Ethan, you should still use Max! i guess we have learnt not to share, its hard tho when you think you can trust someone!!!! i just feel like, one of her names was connor, and i do really like that name but i wouldnt of used it simply because shes my friend and she chose it.. so it hurts more that she used the one i said... u know what i mean? you think you do something nice for someone but they throw it back in your face.

lets just all cross our fingers i have a LITTLE LADY otherwise ther will be a v angry purpledahlia on the loose!! hahaha!

Savannah is gorgeous, i picked this a few years ago after Cafe Savannah in Ibiza! We've picked our girls name though and although i'm nervous incase anyone i know takes it, we've decided to use it anyway as we love it so much! I think people will probably see your not copying your friend and that you just love the name.
Did you ask your friend why she did it? xx

not yet, shes still in hospital cos she had a section. Im gonna just leave her to get in touch with me when she has the time.. ive already passed on my congats etc so im just gonna wait now. I dont know if i will bring it up.. i dont wanna argue but she might bring it up... id prefer it if she did than me... if i do ill just say.. so you used Ethan.. i thought you were gonna use connor or finlay? see what she says, ill make it clear tho, if my scan was wrong and it is a boy i will still be using the name as i had it chosen for months and she knew that. i dont want to have a baby in dec and her get anoyed if i use it..
