Stopping BC mid cycle

Has anyone stopped their birth control mid cycle? I know its a long shot that i'll get pregnant having stopped mid way through the pack. I was supposed to stop at the beginning but as explained in another thread, it didn't work out that way.

Anyone do this and get pregnant right away? OR how long did it take after you stopped your pill?

I'd say it may be possible, but unlikely. It may still prevent or delay ovulation, or not leave your hormone levels conducive to successful conception and implantation. It usually takes a few pill-free cycles before your body re-regulates itself. I'd recommend that you start charting after you get AF, and if you luck out before then, then it'll be a pleasant surprise.
